What will I learn?
You will learn the structural and functional anatomy and biomechanics of the diaphragm, the ribs and the sternal bone.
You will gain a better understanding of the physiology and osteopathic importance of the diaphragm in relation to the parietal, visceral, cranio-sacral, respiratory, and circulatory systems, and how this results in adaptations of the equine body.
On the propaedeutic day, you will learn about the salt-water balance from an osteopathic perspective.
